Cookies Policy
Last updated: 13 July 2026
Applies to the GoGoProp platform at gogoprop.com.
1. What are cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website or use a web application. Similar technologies (such as local storage, pixels and tags) work in comparable ways. They help the Platform function and keep you signed in securely.
2. Who sets cookies on the Platform?
The GoGoProp platform is operated by the GoGoProp group of companies (including GoGoProp Finance Limited, Hong Kong, Company Number 72701105). Cookies may be set by us directly ("first-party" cookies) or by third-party services we use for Platform security and identity verification ("third-party" cookies).
3. Cookies we use
The table below describes the cookies and similar technologies the Platform currently uses. We do not use analytics, heat-mapping or marketing cookies.
| Name / technology | Category | Purpose | Typical duration | Consent needed? |
|---|---|---|---|---|
session (and session.0 … session.7 when chunked) | Strictly necessary | Borrower authenticated session (HttpOnly) | 5 days | No |
staff_session (and staff_session.0 … staff_session.7 when chunked) | Strictly necessary | Staff authenticated session (HttpOnly) | 12 hours by default, or 5 days if you choose to stay signed in | No |
theme (browser local storage via next-themes) | Functional | Remembers your light / dark appearance preference | Until you clear site data or change the setting | No (set when you use the theme control) |
| Google reCAPTCHA Enterprise / Firebase App Check | Strictly necessary (security) | Protects public forms (such as enquiry) from automated abuse | Set by Google / Firebase under their policies | No |
4. How to manage cookies
The Platform currently uses only strictly necessary session cookies and security protections required for the service to work, plus an optional appearance preference stored in local storage when you use the theme control. There is no separate cookie preference centre because we do not set non-essential analytics or marketing cookies.
You can still control cookies through your browser settings, including deleting existing cookies and blocking new ones. Blocking strictly necessary cookies may stop parts of the Platform from working (for example, staying signed in).
5. Third-party cookies
Some cookies or similar technologies may be set by third-party services integrated with the Platform (for example, Google reCAPTCHA / Firebase App Check for bot protection). Those third parties are responsible for their own cookies under their own policies. Where you are directed to a separate third-party environment (for example, to complete an identity check with Cynopsis), that provider's cookie and privacy policies apply.
6. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookies Policy to reflect changes to the cookies we use or to law. The "last updated" date shows when it was last revised.
7. More information
For how we handle personal data more generally, see our Privacy Policy. For any question about cookies, contact support@gogoprop.com.
